The Rare Earth Trading Company is committed to bringing you the best and most unusual in Spheres and Agate Specimens. The cutting rough to make each sphere is hand selected to find the best quality and pattern available in the particular material.

We offer spheres in a wide range of materials and sizes, however, if you don't see exactly what you are looking for, we welcome requests for custom sphere cutting.

Fine Grit Diamond Grinding Cups are here! As our customers have been using the new diamond grinding cups, many of them have asked us to offer the finer grit cups as well. We now have 220 grit and 400 grit diamond sintered cups available. We will get them posted to the site soon, but don't hesitate to ask if you don't want to wait!

Needle Agate! Stunning Psuedomorphs in agate! We just got a shipment in and have cut a few fantastic specimens. Rough is also available. We didn't get a lot, so it won't last long.

Bond-Optic Epoxy is now available in 12 oz kits. This epoxy is ideal for stabilizing delicate materials, fracture sealing and intarsia work.
