The Rare Earth Trading Company was established by John and Lenae Rowland in 1994. John has been a lapidary since 1970 and has been cutting spheres since 1987. John has a degree in physics and has used his knowledge of machine design to develop our custom tooling and machines in our prototyping machine shop.
